Malaysia Is Ready For More Advanced Seo Marketing Tactics

The fire’s been lit – Malaysians are more open to the idea of marketing their businesses online via the many SEO tactics out there in the market. Yes, I would have to concede that many of these SEO tactics has been in the market for a long time…some of them are even obscure or ‘old’. For instance, a Malaysian business friend of mine revealed to me that he discovered a brand new way to create awareness for his business (he had no idea that I was dealing with internet marketing, online promotion, article marketing and search engine optimization). He revealed his ‘secret’ as….wait for it….marketing his Malaysian-based business on the internet by placing keywords into his website. TA DA!!
I forced an impressed smile but had to inform him (as friends often do) that this may seem to him as a new Malaysian internet marketing or SEO promotion method but it’s dinosaur age thing. His crestfallen expression made me feel awfully guilty that I had rained on his newfound Malaysian internet marketing strategy – but he did ask me what I knew about marketing a Malaysian website or company via the internet.
I revealed a little to him because it’s not possible to go into detail during one session which equates to three whole hours of non-stop talking. Marketing a Malaysian company or website via popular Malaysian SEO marketing tactics is not a difficult thing but most people would prefer to hire professional Malaysian search engine marketing experts to do the leg work. It’s tiring and exhausting, trust me, but it’s worth it.
Is it hard trying to find a Malaysian SEO marketing company these days?
I have to admit that they’re still kind of rare but the breed is growing…very quickly too. Back when I was introduced to SEO marketing on the internet for a Malaysian auto website/magazine, I couldn’t find a single (NOT A SINGLE ONE) Malaysian company that dealt with search engine marketing. Oh, hang on. I found one but it was basically a website with very little information on how to do online marketing for a Malaysian company.
But that was it.
Fast forward to today….there are many, many…MANY SEO marketing companies in Malaysia today. But instead of feeling threatened, I feel proud that Malaysians are not more open to the idea of marketing themselves to the rest of the world. As the Malaysian SEO industry grows, we will soon be able to have access to the stage we call WORLD.
You NEED search engine optimization if you want your business to survive in the future
Let’s face it, the world is changing. The people of tomorrow cannot live without either their computers, their laptops of iPhones. Hence, if a Malaysian company does not use proper SEO marketing tactics to bring their companies or websites to the front line, the company would be losing out to the many other Malaysian companies and websites who has been employing proper search engine marketing tactics to market themselves…since…since they started?
The way I see it, if a company is without a website or a blog today, they have about 5 years to live. And this holds true whether you’re a Malaysian company, a Singaporean website or a Korean manufacturer. As long as you don’t have an online presence, you’re as good as gone tomorrow.
I could be partial about having a website and blog in today’s world on account of the fact that I am in the industry but I am impartial about the fact that Malaysian companies are opening up to new ideas where internet, online marketing and other interactive tools are concerned. The way I look at it, Malaysian companies are a conservative bunch of people and when they look at Malaysia SEO tactics and strategies, they’re basically ringing numbers up.
Whatever it is, I can’t be happier that the Malaysia SEO scene is getting bigger, better, more interactive and active because this means I even though I would have to fight past a bigger Malaysia SEO group of competitors, it would also mean that there’s more potential as far as local market is concerned.ABOUT THE AUTHOR
